Security Forces conducted intelligence-driven operations on March 6-7 as part of a relentless counter-terrorism campaign. Thirteen khwarij affiliated with the India Proxy Fitna Al Khwarij were killed in five engagements across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. In Bajaur District, five khwarij were neutralized during an intelligence-based operation after an intense firefight. In two other encounters in Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan Districts, three khwarij were neutralized. In two separate engagements in Khyber and South Waziristan Districts, five more khwarij were neutralized. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed fighters. The operations are conducted concurrently as Pakistan countering border challenges with Afghanistan. The Security Forces remain committed to defending the nation’s frontiers, and sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored khwarij in the area, under the vision Azm e Istehkam and the National Action Plan, with continued efforts by security forces and law enforcement agencies to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism.
